St. Patrick's Casserole Program

St. Patrick Center (in downtown St. Louis) provides hot meals and other services to the poor and the homeless. Holy Spirit Parish is part of an archdiocese-wide cooperative program to assist St. Patrick's. Volunteers from our parish prepare Chicken and Rice Casseroles (according to a set recipe), and bring them to the Parish Resource Center between the hours of 6:30 - 9:30 a.m. The casseroles are then delivered to St. Patrick's. We are always seeking more cooks and drivers. Cooks are needed monthly or as often as you can do so. Drivers may be asked to volunteer a few times per year.

St. Patrick's Salad Program

Volunteers from our parish also provide salads and/or components the 4th Sunday of each month. Salads are collected from the 5:00 PM Mass on Saturday until the beginning of 10:30 Mass on Sunday. Your donations may be placed in a contained in the Parish Hall. The salads are then delivered to St. Patrick's Center
