Liturgy of the Word with Children

During the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Sunday Masses (from September through May), the children 3 years old through third grade come forward after the Opening Prayer and adjourn to their own separate space.  They hear the Word of God using the same readings as the assembly in the church but adapted for children.  They rejoin the assembly for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
