Our Parish

Formed in May, 2004 with the merger of St. Blaise, St. Lawrence the Martyr and St. Mary's Parishes, Holy Spirit Parish is blessed with many parishioners able and willing to share their time, talent and resources to provide a vibrant and dynamic place where we worship God and meet the needs of the diverse members of our community. Most recently, as a result of the All Things New initiative, we have been able to adopt our brothers and sisters from St Jude's Parish in Overland as well.

Holy Spirit Parish is a faith community that celebrates the many gifts and talents of our diverse population. The spirit of our Catholic Church is exemplified by many unique parish-centered organizations and community outreach programs. From quiet adoration and peaceful meditation to charismatic prayer groups and weekend retreats, we develop our personal spirituality as we also join in the communal celebration of the sacraments of our faith.

As a dynamic, engaged community, we strive to walk in Christ’s footsteps by compassionately visiting the home-bound, nursing homes and hospitalized, by reaching out to those with financial or physical needs, and by ministering a wide array of social programs for our adults. To develop the intellectual, physical and spiritual values of our children, we have an excellent full-time school and a superb religious formation program for children attending other schools in our community. We also reach out to our youth with year-round athletic, scouting and youth ministry programs.
