April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

We at Holy Spirit Parish encourage everyone to take advantage of the "Protecting God's Children" (PGC) program.  Those who volunteer with our children and/or vulnerable adults are required to become "PGC" compliant.  In order to become compliant, one must attend a "Protecting God's Children" workshop (a listing can be found at www.archstl.org, click on the "Protecting God's Children" link just below the pictures on the left hand side), complete a "Worker Registration" form so that we may request a background check, complete an "Acknowledgement..." form so that we have your permission to request a background check every even numbered year, and a signed "Code of Ethics" form (page 11 of the attached document).  All the forms need to be returned to Holy Spirit's Child Safety Coordinator, Mary Welsh, at the Parish Office.
