Grief Ministry Support Group:
Holy Spirit will resume offering its Grief Support Group Ministry based on Fr Joe Kempf’s book, “No One Cries the Wrong Way: Seeing God Through Tears”. The group will begin weekly Friday meetings starting October 29 and running through the last meeting held on December 17 with the exception of Nov. 26 due to Thanksgiving. The meetings will be held in the Holy Spirit Resource Center St. Lawrence room at 2:30 PM.
This program is designed to provide a faith-based, confidential setting for anyone suffering grief; including the loss of a loved one through death, divorce or termination of employment.

“When my wife passed away, I was devastated and lost. Our Pastoral Associate confronted me about a group that met at church. I was glad to hear of it. My daughter was going through hard times also, so we attended together. At first I was nervous not knowing what to expect. Then I realized I was not alone in my feelings. It was a comfort to know others going through the same issues. I started looking forward to the meetings to be able to talk about our loss and to pray and realize she is still with me. Thank you so much for the opportunity to participate in this group. It gave me a lot of peace to go on”.
